Hi Folks, Happy New Year to all! It’s been a long long time since I wrote a newsletter.
I really don’t know where to start writing THIS newsletter! Newsletters are supposed to be about
great places I will be playing, and /or up coming events and new music I am doing!
The last time I wrote the world was a way different and happy place! COvid -19 such a sad thing! We
all have had stories to share because of this! From people losing jobs to losing family members! My
whole family had this. And my wife said I was so awfully close to being admitted to the hospital! She said she thought I was going to die! But we are all now doing great!
The last newsletter I stated I had my busiest year ever! But 2020 I ended up with only playing 15 jobs!
Then last year it got slightly better. I was able to get out playing music 32 times! And it was fun!
I am still playing for supper clubs, restaurants, resorts, music in the parks, art fairs, chamber events,
wedding receptions. anniversary parties, high school reunions, church picnics, private parties, over
95 different assisted living and senior centers and many other functions spread all over the U.P. of
Michigan, all of Wisconsin and even back to the Chicago area where I was raised.
I still continue to work on new music and my singing! One of the only good things about Co-vid 19
virus is because I couldn’t play anywhere, I was able to work on new music! It has really tough to find
places to play since Co-vid! But it is slowly opening back up!
I will be returning to play this year during the tourist season at Chef Rene’s in Eagle River Inn, located
in Eagle River WI, the Twilight Supper Club in Land O Lakes WI and Garmisch USA Resort to play for their “Christmas Tree Lighting celebration” marking my 10th year playing for this great event! I also was asked by the Eagle River Chamber to entertain for their “Moscow Mules Up North” event, and all of the local supper clubs and restaurants use their recipe and have the public and restaurants vote on who makes the best Moscow Mule drink!
I also have been asked play for the second time for the ” Wausau East Class of 1961” high school reunion! There are many other places that I have been in contact with for this year!
I still love playing a lot of the old American standards (MY Favorites), country, jazz, big band
swing, blues, pop and some rock, including music from the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s,70’s, 80’s. You may hear
music from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole, Englebert Humperdink, Andy
Williams, Paul Anka, Bobby Vinton, Bobby Darin, Michael Bublé, Ray Price, Jimmy Buffet, Willie
Nelson, Johnny Cash, John Denver, Glenn Campbell, the Platters, Neil Diamond, Elvis and more!
I have been in talks with many other restuarants and other places! So please keep checking this
website and the “Itinerary” page to see where I will be playing this year!
